We are happy to substitute any items, but we cannot add or remove factoids or categories. If you would like to add or remove items, please contact us for a custom project.

Please note, due to the custom nature of substitutions, this option will incur a one-time fee of $4.99. This one-time fee covers any and all substitutions and you will never be charged more than the single $4.99 fee, no matter how many substitutions you make.

Want a keepsake for an upcoming baby shower or birth celebration? No worries! Our customers love gifting our Day You Were Born keepsakes as new baby presents and to gift or display at baby showers. Many customers order keepsakes far in advance to gift at the hospital as a new baby gift. We have a special "Pre-Birth Keepsake" program that our customers love to take advantage of.

With our "Pre-Birth Keepsake" program we will print and deliver TWO keepsakes for the price of one, and a nominal shipping and handling fee of $8.95. Here's how our "Pre-Birth Keepsake" program works.

Simply order a keepsake with as much information as you have. If a name has not been picked out, we will use "Baby" and the desired last name. You may use the estimated due date for date of birth, and we will use average statistics for the rest.

We will send you a beautiful Day You Were Born keepsake now to gift in advance, display at a baby shower, or to present as a new baby gift, and another identical keepsake with all the birth details once the baby has been born! The "Pre-Birth Keepsake" will be the same like kind and quality, identical to the final keepsake in every way, except the final keepsake will have updated birth information. We also include a "Pre-Birth Keepsake" gift notecard. This lets the recipient know they are entitled to a brand new keepsake with all the birth details once the baby has been born, completely free of charge as the gift-giver has taken care of everything!  

Here's the process:

1.  Pick out and order the style you would like and order as usual.
2. At checkout, simply check mark "Pre-Birth Keepsake".
3. Provide any details you may have such as name, expected due date etc. With the "Pre-Birth Keepsake" box checked, we will fill in any details we don't have with placeholders for the recipient to see how their updated keepsake will look.
4. Gift your keepsake. We will include a "Gift" notecard which lets the recipient know they are entitled to a new keepsake with all the birth details at no cost to them.
5. After birth, you or the recipient may email us with the birth details to redeem your final keepsake. Email

6. Your final keepsake will ship out on the same schedule as a new print.
